Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday reiterated his government’s commitment to ensuring all-round development of the state, stressing that the responsibility given to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by the people will be fulfilled with honesty and dedication.
Taking to social media, Mann said that the people of Punjab had entrusted “sons and daughters of common households” with the responsibility of leading the state towards progress. He underlined that his government is delivering on its promises by providing free healthcare facilities to the people and ensuring quality education for children.
Focus on Free Healthcare
Mann pointed out that access to healthcare is a fundamental right, and his government has taken several steps to provide medical services without financial burden. From expanding the network of Aam Aadmi Clinics to strengthening government hospitals, Punjab has been working to make health facilities available at the grassroots level. According to the Chief Minister, thousands of patients are now receiving free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines under the scheme.
Commitment to Education
The Chief Minister also highlighted education as a key pillar of governance. He said the state is actively working to upgrade government schools, improve infrastructure, and introduce modern teaching methods. Trained teachers, new classrooms, and better facilities are being provided to ensure that children from every background get equal opportunities to learn and grow.
Message of Inclusive Development
Mann emphasized that development in Punjab cannot be limited to a few but must reach every household, especially those from ordinary backgrounds. By focusing on health and education, the government aims to empower future generations and build a stronger, more equitable state.
