Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inspected the ‘Tent City’ prepared at Sri Anandpur Sahib for the sangat arriving to pay homage during the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He expressed satisfaction that the accommodations provided to devotees resemble hotel-like facilities, all available free of cost.

He emphasised that the arrangements have been made so that no devotee faces any form of inconvenience while offering prayers and bowing their heads before the unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Sahib.

He further added that the Tent City represents Punjab’s deep respect and collective devotion toward Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s legacy. Thousands of devotees from across the country are expected to arrive, and the state administration is working round-the-clock to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, medical support, and round-the-clock assistance.
Mann noted that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme martyrdom continues to inspire generations, and the government is committed to honouring this historic milestone with full devotion, discipline, and service spirit. The CM reiterated that Punjab’s cultural and spiritual heritage will always be safeguarded and celebrated with pride.
The Punjab government has further strengthened arrangements at Sri Anandpur Sahib in view of the large footfall expected during the 350th Shaheedi Shatabdi of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Officials have been instructed to ensure uninterrupted water, electricity, medical aid, sanitation, and security so that devotees experience a safe and comfortable stay.
Special volunteer teams and helpdesks have also been deployed across the venue to guide lakhs of pilgrims arriving from different states. The upgraded hospitality facilities, combined with round-the-clock monitoring, reflect the state’s commitment to honouring Guru Sahib’s unparalleled sacrifice with dignity, devotion, and flawless management.
