It comprises eight coaches, including seven AC Chair Car coaches and one Executive AC Chair Car coach, designed for comfort and efficiency.
Government’s Push for Modern Rail Infrastructure
The launch of this new Vande Bharat Express aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to expand the Vande Bharat network across India. The initiative aims to provide fast, safe, and modern rail travel, connecting key economic and cultural hubs.
The Ministry of Railways noted that the new train will not only enhance passenger convenience but also reduce congestion on other key routes between Punjab and Delhi, promoting regional development and economic growth.
