Punjab: 36 Govt school principals to visit Singapore for training

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made a big announcement to improve the standard of education in government schools. CM Bhagwant Mann said that teachers of government schools in Punjab will go to Singapore for training. Government school principals will be trained in Singapore from 6-10 February. CM Bhagwant Mann said that our government had come to Punjab with the guarantee of bringing a new revolution in the field of education. In this connection, we are working day and night one by one. First of all we did PTMs in government schools so that the distance between the government school teachers and the parents of the child ends. There should be a rapport between them.

‘School of Eminence’ program will run in Punjab

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the parents of the child should know how the child is performing in school and the teachers should know what activities the child does after school. There was praise everywhere for conducting PTM in government schools.

Now we are bringing School of Eminence so that in which direction the child’s mind is going, what is the interest of the child, in which field he is interested, it can be found out and then he can be given training in that field. With this he will be able to choose his favorite career.

Teachers will be trained abroad

The CM of Punjab said that teachers are the future of the country, that is why they are called nation builders. He is called the creator of the community. When we were campaigning in Punjab for elections, we had said that we will take government school headmasters and principals to foreign countries and get them trained from there so that they can come to Punjab and teach children in the same way and make their future bright.

Training will be held in Singapore

He further said that in this connection our first batch of 36 principals is going to Singapore. These people will leave from here on 4th February. He will have a Professional Teaching Seminar from 6-10 February. He will return to Punjab on 11 February. I hope that his Singapore experience will be beneficial not only for his fellow teachers but also for the students.
