Currently, Punjab has already dedicated 664 Aam Aadmi Clinics, where people have access to 84 essential drugs and over 40 diagnostic tests without any financial burden. The Chief Minister’s emphasis on expanding these clinics underscores the administration’s focus on bolstering primary healthcare infrastructure. This initiative aligns with the government’s broader vision of creating a robust healthcare system that addresses the diverse medical needs of the population.
Fulfilling Commitments and Expediting Medical College Operations
During the review meeting of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Chief Minister Mann urged officials to expedite the operationalization of upcoming medical colleges in the state. Expressing concern over the limited number of medical colleges in Punjab, he highlighted plans to open five more medical colleges in the coming year. This strategic move reflects the government’s commitment to providing quality medical education and healthcare facilities to the people of Punjab.
