Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Pays Tributes on Guru Ramdas Ji’s Jyoti Jot Diwas

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid heartfelt tributes to Sri Guru Ramdas Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, on the solemn occasion of his Jyoti Jot Diwas. Taking to social media, the Chief Minister bowed at the Guru’s feet and offered his prayers, recalling the Guru’s immense contribution to humanity, spirituality, and selfless service.

In his message, Mann wrote in Punjabi: “ਸੋਢੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੋਤੀ-ਜੋਤਿ ਦਿਵਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਚਰਨਾਂ ‘ਚ ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਦੀਵੀਂ ਕਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਲੋਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਧ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।”

Guru Ramdas Ji’s Legacy

Sri Guru Ramdas Ji, the founder of the holy city of Amritsar, is remembered for his deep devotion, humility, and contributions towards strengthening Sikh values. He composed a large number of hymns included in the Guru Granth Sahib, emphasizing love, service, and the spirit of community. His teachings continue to inspire people across the world to lead a life of compassion and truth.

CM Mann’s Message of Inspiration

Bhagwant Mann highlighted that the Guru’s life is a guiding light for generations, showing the importance of sewa (selfless service) and humility in public life. He said that on this sacred day, Punjabis should pledge to follow the ideals of Guru Ramdas Ji and work towards unity, harmony, and collective progress.
