Punjab News: Bhagwant Mann encouraged industrialists to set their units in rural areas

Move Aimed At Giving Filip To Industrial Development Of The State, Announces To Set Up Dedicated Sub-Stations For The Industrialists

Punjab News: Bhagwant Singh Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, urged business owners to locate their industries in the state’s rural districts on Thursday, saying doing so will help create jobs for young people. He also announced the creation of a special police force to assist visitors to Amritsar.

Establishing facilities in rural areas will serve two purposes: it will spur industrial development and open up new employment opportunities for young people. He also declared that he would encourage industrialization in the state’s border districts.

During Sarkar Sannatkar Milni, or town hall meetings, Mann said he interacted with industrialists in Amritsar and Jalandhar and that his government is committed to ensuring the all-around growth of the sector in the border region.

Mann said every effort will be made to support the sector in the region

In the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Mann added that every effort will be made to support the sector in the region. He declared that Punjab’s industrial development will be accelerated by the AAP government.

In order to assist businessmen, the state government will build a conference centre in Jalandhar close to the airport and train station, he remarked.

On the same lines as water is provided to farmers for agriculture, the state government will ensure careful use of canal water for the industrial facilities. According to Mann, this will facilitate the industry’s efficient operation.

The state government is developing a strategy to use CSR funding to support the growth of industrial focal sites. He further said that in order to maintain law and order, police stations are being built in industrial zones and focal points.
