Punjab News: In a strong show of support to flood-affected residents, Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh and MLA Kuldeep Singh AAP visited several villages in the Ajnala constituency, severely impacted by recent floods. The visit was part of the ongoing relief efforts led by the Bhagwant Mann government, which remains fully committed to providing immediate assistance and long-term support to affected families.

During their visit, the leaders met with the affected villagers, offering them words of encouragement and assessing the extent of damage caused by the floods. A medical camp was organized on-site to provide necessary health services and check the wellbeing of residents, while officials inspected the available relief facilities to ensure proper aid distribution.
Furthermore, the officials distributed compensation cheques to the most needy and severely affected families, assuring that the government’s full support is directed towards the rehabilitation and restoration of livelihoods. They reaffirmed that the Punjab government is committed to fully compensating flood victims for their losses and taking all necessary steps to rebuild the affected areas.
