On Saturday, a mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) held across the state saw the active participation of over 20 lakh parents of students enrolled in government schools, as per officials' reports.
Harjot Singh Bains, the Education Minister, acknowledged the valuable suggestions received from parents during the extensive meeting. The event, conducted from 10 am to 3.30 pm, took place at 19,109 schools, as stated in an official announcement.

Government schools throughout the state were adorned to welcome parents for this significant PTM, organized by the state education department. In addition to the meetings, book exhibitions were also organized, adding an extra dimension to the engagement, according to officials.
Teachers took the opportunity to brief parents on various state initiatives, including Mission Saksham and Mission 100 per cent, while also discussing student attendance policies and details about new admissions in their respective schools. The interactive sessions provided a platform for meaningful communication between educators and parents.
