Punjab News: In a significant operation, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab, along with the SAS Nagar Police, arrested four members of a criminal network linked to Canada-based gangster Arsh Dalla. This move comes as part of ongoing efforts under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to tackle organised crime in Punjab. The gang was reportedly involved in a recent shootout at a car accessories showroom in Mohali, with instructions from handlers based in the USA.

The successful joint operation by the Punjab Police has resulted in the apprehension of four operatives connected to Arsh Dalla’s gang. These individuals had been planning further criminal activities in Punjab. The Punjab Police's quick action, directed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s administration, emphasises their commitment to ensuring public safety and dismantling organised crime networks operating in the state.

Recovery of Weapons and Investigation Underway

During the arrest, the police seized three .32 caliber pistols and 16 live cartridges. These were intended for use in future criminal activities. The accused individuals have a long criminal history, with multiple cases registered against them. The Punjab Police have filed an FIR at the State Crime Police Station in Mohali, and investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the network involved in the shootout.
