Items recovered from the accused include:
• 1 Star-marked pistol (.30 bore)
• 1 pistol (.30 bore)
• 1 PX5 pistol (.30 bore)
• 1 Glock Gen-19 pistol (9mm)
• 6 live rounds (.30 bore)

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused maintained active links with Pakistan-based smugglers, who were attempting to push sophisticated weapons into Punjab with the intention of creating instability in the state.
Police officials said that the arrest is a crucial step in uncovering the wider network of cross-border operatives. A deeper investigation is currently underway to identify the remaining members involved in the smuggling chain and to dismantle the entire module.
The Punjab Police reiterated that they remain resolute in their crackdown on organised crime, and committed to safeguarding the peace, security, and stability of all citizens, especially in border districts prone to such infiltration attempts.
Authorities praised the coordinated efforts of the Amritsar Rural Police and the Border Range Police, calling the operation a strong example of timely action and precise intelligence-sharing.
