In a major breakthrough against terrorism, the Amritsar Police Commissionerate has successfully busted a terror module and arrested three suspects involved in a terror-related racket for monetary gains. The operation, led by Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, resulted in the recovery of an AK-47 rifle, multiple rounds of ammunition, and two pistols (.30 and .32 bore) along with cartridges.
Arrests and Firearm Seizure
The arrested individuals have been identified as:

🔹 Karandeep Singh
🔹 Buta Singh
All three accused are residents of Amritsar Rural and were reportedly involved in the illegal arms and terror network. Addressing the media, Commissioner Bhullar said,
"Police Commissionerate Amritsar has achieved huge success. We have busted a terror module and arrested three people. The accused were engaged in terror activities for financial motives. We are investigating the source of their arms, ammunition, and their entire network of finances, suppliers, and drones."
Police Operation and Retaliation
During the operation, one of the accused attempted to fire at an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) while being brought in for questioning. In response, the police team retaliated, injuring Lovepreet Singh and Buta Singh. Both are currently under medical supervision.
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities are now probing the supply chain of weapons, including the use of drones to smuggle arms and ammunition. The police are also tracking the financial backers and handlers behind the terror network.
Commissioner Bhullar congratulated his team for the successful operation, emphasizing the commitment of Punjab Police to maintaining law and order and ensuring terrorist activities are curbed at all costs.
