Punjab Police Deepens War Against Drugs! Around 250 Drug Smugglers Arrested in More than 500 Raids, Check Details

In the fight of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann against drugs in the state, Punjab police achieved big success. It was able to arrest around 250 drug smugglers with heroin, poppy husk and money.

Punjab Police: In its attempts of fight against drugs , Punjab Police has achieved great success so far. During  campaign against war on drugs in Punjab, many raids have been conducted till so far. Punjab Police has informed its success against war on drugs. As per them, many drug smugglers have been arrested so far. Aam Aadmi Party is continuously fighting against drugs running under the leadership of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

Punjab police shared a post on X regarding war against drugs campaign.


Punjab Police wrote on X, 'Yuddh Nashiyan Viruddh, Day 77: War against drugs intensifies - 516 raids across Punjab! 250 drug smugglers arrested (Total: 11,746 in 77 days) 117 FIRs registered, 2.5 kg heroin, 19 quintals of poppy husk and ₹46 lakh drug money seized. Over 250 teams comprising over 1,800 policemen led by 102 officers checked  590 suspects. 93 individuals sent for de-addiction treatment. Report drug traffickers anonymously: 9779100200.'


CM Bhagwant Mann Launched a Massive Campaign against Drugs


Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann lashed out at the previous governments of the state. CM Mann wrote in his post on X, 'The previous two governments pushed Punjab into the quagmire of drugs by engaging people in party politics. But we went among the people of Punjab and started a mass movement against drugs. All Punjabis are contributing to this common fight of Punjab against drugs by rising above party politics.'


CM Bhagwant Mann shared in his post on X, “Village Narangwal has made a historic start to the 'War on Drugs' campaign. When a video of this village came to me, in which a drug smuggler woman had challenged the village sarpanch to sell drugs. I myself spoke to the sarpanch sahab on the phone and sent the SSP with a JCB and took action overnight and sent the drug smuggler to jail and bulldozed the house. “


In Punjab, CM Bhagwant Mann is continuously running campaign against drugs and is being intensified day by day. The success of Punjab Police in arresting drug smugglers is the one evidence of this campaign. This fight against drugs will keep on running by the government.
