Amritsar's Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport detained Gurinder Singh, a Waris Punjab De head Amritpal Singh's aide, as he tried to take an Air India flight to London.
A look out notice had been issued by the police for Gurinder Singh. A watch notice had already been issued by the police for Gurinder Singh. Amritpal's social media profiles have been managed by Gurinder Singh, a Jalandhar native.
On February 24, Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh and his supporters, some of whom were loaded with swords and guns, attacked a police station in Ajnala, a village on the outskirts of Amritsar.
They had a promise from the police that Lovepreet Singh Toofan, Amritpl Singh's assistant and a suspect in the kidnapping case, would be freed. The tussles injured six police officers.
