According to a tweet from Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav, the arrests were made by the Amritsar Rural Police following a detailed probe. The investigation has so far uncovered their links to Harpreet Singh alias Pittu alias Happy, a man currently lodged in Amritsar Central Jail, who is believed to be the conduit between the accused and foreign handlers.
