Forty-seven children were miraculously saved after a fire broke out two days ago in the ICU of Jaipur’s largest children’s JK Lon hospital run by the Rajasthan government.
When smoke emanating from the AC duct line engulfed the children late on Monday night, His parents pulled him out with the help of hospital staffWindow panes had to be broken to blow out the smoke and power supply to the ICU had to be switched off.
Some children were on oxygen, while some were on drip. Medical Education Principal Secretary T. Ravikant inspected the hospital on Tuesday morning and ordered an inquiry.
