Ashok Gehlot announces 19 new districts and 3 new Divisions in Rajasthan

Rajasthan: In a significant milestone, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced on Friday that his government has decided to create 19 new districts and three new divisions.

These statements were made by the Chief Minister on Friday during his speech to the state assembly. The state will now have 50 districts in total due to the creation of 19 additional ones, the chief minister announced.

It’s interesting that Gehlot made these declarations before Rajasthan’s approaching assembly elections.

“We received demands for the formation of some new districts in the state. We had formed a high-level committee to examine these proposals and we have received the final report…I now announce the formation of new districts in the state,” Rajasthan CM Gehlot infomed the Assembly.
