As Rajasthan braces for the Assembly Elections on November 25, the campaigning concludes today, with candidates making their final appeals to voters. Voting will take place across the state in a single phase from 7 am to 6 pm. Union Home Minister Amit Shah engaged in a roadshow in Nathdwara, supporting BJP candidate Kunwar Vishwaraj Singh Mewar. Mewar, who recently joined the party, is contesting from Nathdwara. Shah’s roadshow is part of the last-minute efforts to sway voters.

Prime Minister Modi’s Rally in Devgarh

On the last day of the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Devgarh, Rajsamand. During the Vijay Sankalp Sabha, PM Modi expressed confidence in the election outcome, stating, “the election result is certain.” He highlighted the sentiments he observed during his extensive visits to every corner of Rajasthan, with people echoing the refrain, ‘Gehlot ji, Koni mile vote ji.’ PM Modi emphasized the anti-incumbency sentiment against the current Congress government and predicted that the Gehlot government would not return to power in Rajasthan.

Women’s Participation and Anti-Congress Sentiment

Prime Minister Modi underscored the active participation of women in the election, asserting that mothers and sisters have rallied behind the BJP. He criticized the Congress government, alleging it to be anti-women, and claimed that the people of Rajasthan have resolved to oust the ruling party. The assembly elections in Rajasthan are closely watched, and political leaders are making their final efforts to secure voter support.
