Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that Rajasthan is set to witness a major employment boost, with 10 lakh job opportunities being generated across both the public and private sectors. This development is a direct result of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which has attracted significant investments and commitments from private enterprises.
Massive Investments for Employment Growth
During the summit, the state government signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore with various private companies and entrepreneurs. This massive influx of investment is expected to create around 6 lakh jobs in the private sector alone. Additionally, employment opportunities in government and allied sectors will further contribute to the overall target of 10 lakh jobs.
Speaking about Rajasthan’s industrial and economic progress, Chief Minister Sharma emphasized that the state’s policies are designed to promote business-friendly environments and enhance employment generation. The government is actively working to facilitate ease of doing business, ensuring that investors find Rajasthan an attractive destination for setting up new ventures.
Celebrations at Karoli District’s Religious and Agricultural Events
The Chief Minister also participated in the Bhagwan Jagdish Ji Lakhi Mela and Kisan Sammelan in Karoli district’s Camri on February 2, 2025. These events showcased the state's rich cultural heritage while addressing key issues faced by farmers. The Kisan Sammelan focused on government initiatives aimed at improving agricultural productivity, farmer welfare, and rural employment.
A Bright Future for Rajasthan’s Economy
With the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, the state has positioned itself as a hub for industrial growth and employment opportunities. The government remains committed to attracting investors, strengthening infrastructure, and developing skill-based employment to ensure sustainable economic progress in the coming years.
