Rajasthan News: Chief Secretary V. Srinivas recently reviewed the progress of the PM-Kusum scheme and directed power distribution companies of the state to swiftly accelerate implementation. Srinivas added that this would help develop 3,000 MW of solar projects by March 2026. He also remarked that PM-Kusum scheme is vital for offering farmers of Rajasthan with accessible and affordable solar energy.

In another development, the Jodhpur DISCOM achieved a unique feat under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM). Managing Director Dr. Bhanwarlal remarked that the installation of 240 decentralized solar plants in the state of Rajasthan with a collective capacity of 336.25 MW has already been facilitated by the KUSUM-A component.
