Rajasthan News: Seven locations in the state of Rajasthan have been proposed for capitalizing on the Union Government’s BHAVYA (Building High-Impact Value Yards for Accelerated Development) scheme that is focused on the creation of next-generation industrial hubs.
Formulated by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), the scheme aims to develop more than 100 high-potential urban and industrial growth notes across India.

Two vital nodes: Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area and Khushkhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana Investment Region are already under different stages of the development phase.

According to media reports, the other locations could be Bhichoon (Jodhpur), Khankhala-Sahada (Bhilwara), Ganeshwar (Sikar) and Mahuwa Kalan/Soniyana (Bhilwara). The official confirmation for the location is presently awaiting the approval of NICDC.
A senior official of the Industries Department remarked that work has already seen the green light on the ground at the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area via a joint venture with the NICDC Trust, reflecting the readiness of Rajasthan for translating policy into execution. The official also remarked that the presence of an established special purpose vehicles (SPVs) framework between NICDC and the state of Rajasthan strengthens institutional capacity, ensuring faster implementation timelines and smoother coordination.
The official also added that Rajasthan already has considerable land parcels in its possession. This would help in reducing the otherwise never-ending project gestation periods, which is a big factor in attracting investors.

The proposed 7 sites would promote industrial clustering, logistics integration and regional connectivity across the state of Rajasthan. Moreover, the state experienced powerful interest across logistics, manufacturing and allied sector, enhancing the growth and viability of the state’s proposed BHAVYA nodes. In addition to this, the development is likely to drive many domestic and international industrial units and businesses to the state, driving youth hiring and revenue to the northern state and India.
