Rajasthan Police arrests 2,518 offenders, including 228 history-sheeters and many more

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given instructions to prevent unwanted activities and arrest criminals. After this, the Rajasthan Police has launched a special campaign. In this sequence, action has been taken in Bharatpur range on Monday.

Director General of Police Umesh Mishra told that a special campaign is being run under the supervision of ADG Crime Dinesh NM. Under this, wanted criminals and other anti-social elements are being arrested. On Monday, a special campaign was conducted in four districts of Bharatpur range, Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur.

Police raided 2,860 places

About 3,750 police officers and 500 teams of jawans took action under this campaign. In this, 2,518 miscreants have been arrested by raiding 2,860 places. In the campaign, Bharatpur police arrested 805 miscreants, Dhaulpur police 460, Karauli police 530 and Sawai Madhopur police arrested 723 miscreants.

During the action, Bharatpur Range IG Gaurav Srivastava took command from the control room. Along with this, the Superintendents of Police of the four districts of the range led the action by staying in the field. In the case, ADG Crime Dinesh MN said that 32 criminals have been arrested by registering 31 cases under the Arms Act against those possessing illegal weapons.

Gaurav Srivastava further said that one gun, 23 kattas, one pistol, 25 cartridges and 5 sharp weapons have been seized from the arrested accused. Under the Excise Act, 68 persons have been arrested in 68 cases. Two thousand 703 pavves of country liquor, 191 liters of liquor and a vehicle have been seized from them. Under the NDPS Act, 4 kg 320 grams of ganja has been seized from an accused.

Along with this, ADG Crime said that five cases have been registered under illegal mining. In these, 4 accused have been arrested and 5 tractor trolleys with 21.5 tonnes of gravel have been seized. 13 lakh 47 thousand 520 rupees have been seized by arresting 10 accused in 5 cases of cyber fraud.

Apart from this, 15 mobiles, 43 sims and 3 vehicles have been seized. Similarly, 57 cases have been registered under the RPGO Act against gambling-betting in public places and 98 persons have been arrested. 76 thousand 876 rupees at stake and speculative equipment have been seized from them.
