Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2023: PET/PST Exam Postponed Due to Election Code of Conduct

Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2023: The Physical Efficiency and Measurement (PET/PST) examination for the 2023 Rajasthan Police Constable recruitment, initially scheduled for 26th to 31st October, has been postponed. The recruitment process was set to fill 3,578 constable positions.

An official notice explains that the postponement is due to the Model Code of Conduct currently in effect because of the Assembly Elections in 2023. The new date for the PET/PST exam has yet to be announced.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official department websites, namely police.rajasthan.gov.in and recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in, one week before the scheduled commencement of the Physical Efficiency and Measurement tests. Notably, admit cards will not be dispatched via postal mail.

This recruitment process in Rajasthan has introduced a novel sequence, with the physical examination taking place before the written test. After completing the physical examination, candidates who pass will be called for the written exam in a number equivalent to 15 times the positions available. Subsequently, placements will be awarded based on merit following document verification.
