New Delhi: A 16-year-old girl was brutally murdered in the nation’s capital on Monday, May 29, and Sahil, the perpetrator, was apprehended by police. CCTV footage from the Shahbad Dairy neighbourhood in Rohini shows him repeatedly stabbing the child. He was taken into custody in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The 20-year-old was a refrigerator and air conditioner mechanic. A day before the heinous murder, Sahil and the young victim apparently had a fight about their relationship.

Man Stabs and Beats Young Girl in Horrifying Incident

The couple had a fight the night before, according to the police. The man attacked the kid with a knife on Sunday night and repeatedly stabbed her. The killer had to shake the knife free at one point as it looked to get stuck. The horrifying footage then shows the man striking the girl repeatedly while holding a stone slab. He appeared to leave, but then came back and whacked her with the rock once more. The girl was attacked on route to her friend’s son’s birthday party, according to the police. They were dating, but yesterday they got into a fight. The youngster had made plans to go to her friend’s son’s birthday celebration. The man pursued her, repeatedly stabbed her, and beat her with a stone, according to a senior officer.

Outrage and Demands for Action After Brutal Murder of Young Girl in Delhi

Residents called the police, who responded and discovered the girl’s body with blood surrounding her. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has denounced the incident. “In Delhi, a little girl was brutally murdered. This is horrible and terribly sad. There is no longer any fear of the police, and criminals have become fearless. L-G sir, law and order are your responsibility; take action, he pleaded in a Hindi tweet. The chairwoman of the Delhi women’s panel, Swati Maliwal, stated that the police have been sent a notice over the event. A CCTV camera caught the crime. Many people observed this, but they paid it no mind. For girls and women, Delhi has become incredibly hazardous, she claimed, according to the news agency.
