Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has once again taken a strong stand against the Two-Language Policy and Fair Delimitation, asserting that Tamil Nadu’s voice is resonating across the nation. In a sharp tweet, Stalin criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its stance on these issues, stating that the ruling party is visibly unsettled.
He pointed out that BJP leaders, in their recent interviews, seem to be struggling to justify their policies, which he believes are unfair to Tamil Nadu and other southern states.
Direct Attack on Yogi Adityanath
Responding to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who spoke on issues of hate politics, Stalin hit back with a scathing remark. "And now Hon’ble Yogi Adityanath wants to lecture us on hate? Spare us. This isn’t irony—it’s political black comedy at its darkest," he tweeted.
His remarks appear to be a strong rejection of what he perceives as BJP’s divisive politics. Stalin emphasized that Tamil Nadu does not oppose any language but stands firmly against its imposition and linguistic chauvinism.
Battle for Justice, Not Votes
Positioning Tamil Nadu’s stance as a fight for dignity and justice, Stalin dismissed BJP’s alleged "riot-for-votes politics." He reiterated that his government is committed to fair representation and linguistic rights, ensuring that Tamil Nadu’s interests are not compromised under delimitation policies that could shift political power disproportionately.
The statement has intensified the ongoing debate on language imposition and fair electoral representation, further highlighting the growing rift between the DMK-led Tamil Nadu government and the BJP-led central government.
