Pune news: A young person is accused of coercing a female instructor to strip during a video conference and then attempting to demand money from her. A 36-year-old teacher from Hadapsar in Pune filed a complaint against one of her students for allegedly coercing her into being naked on a video chat and demanding $5,000 in exchange for not going viral. A 36-year-old male from Bihar’s Patna has been charged under the appropriate laws.
Teacher Files Complaint Against Student for Coercion and Extortion
The incident reportedly took place between March 2020 and June 2023. The complainant, according to the police, instructs engineering students on professional skills at a city-based educational institution. The accused messaged her on social media in 2021, and she responded. They then began conversing frequently after this. The complainant claimed that the accused had threatened to slander her over the phone one day. Then, in a video call, he made her strip twice or three times while secretly recording the entire thing.

Harassed Teacher Reports Accused to Police for Stalking
After becoming tired of being harassed, the woman told her husband about the incident and warned the accused not to get in touch with her again, threatening to report him to the police. Although she banned him, the accused texted her in the first week of June. The accused then sent her the pornographic film and asked payment. This time, the woman went to the Hadapsar police department and reported him. According to sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the accused was charged with stalking, criminal intimidation, and extortion. The suspect is not from Pune, according to the police, and a manhunt has been started to find him.
