Traffic Advisory: Altered Routes and Diversions for Bhim Sansad Program on Sunday

In light of the upcoming Bhim Sansad program scheduled to take place at the Veterinary Ground on Sunday, the city’s traffic system will undergo temporary modifications. To accommodate this event, the traffic police have devised alternative routes and diversions, effective from 11 pm on Saturday night until 10 pm on Sunday. Notably, there will be a restriction on the entry of trucks during this period.

Exceptions will be made for vehicles associated with essential services, including ambulances, fire brigades, and those transporting patients or deceased individuals.

Guidelines for Vehicles Attending the Event:

  • Vehicles from North Bihar via JP Setu can access Atal Path.
  • Vehicles arriving from Mahatma Gandhi Setu can reach Mithapur Old Bus Stand, Gardanibagh Ground, and Gardanibagh High School Ground.
  • Large vehicles from South Bihar will be directed to the old bus stand via New Bypass.
  • Vehicles from Bihta and Maner in the west will utilize Khagaul Lakh, Patil Path, Rotary Golambar to Atal Path, extending to the R Block end.
  • VIP and pass holder vehicles for the event will be designated parking near Phulwari Jail.

Guidelines for Specific Routes:

  • No vehicle movement will be permitted between Chitkohra and Patel Golambar, with diversions through Gardnibagh or Anisabad Golambar.
  • Vehicles heading from Phulwari Jail toward the airport will use Jagdev Path Road or Tamtam stop.
  • Those with air travel plans can proceed towards the airport from Golambar or Dumra post, presenting their plane ticket.
  • Commercial vehicles are prohibited on Atal Path, Jagdevpath Road, and Harding Road. Those bound for Harding Road will be redirected from Chitkohra South via Mithapur to GPO and Karbigahiya.
  • Standard vehicles are not allowed to park along the route from Aranya Bhawan via BMP to Ashiana Mor.

These adjustments aim to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic while ensuring the safety and convenience of both event attendees and the general public. Motorists are encouraged to adhere to the provided guidelines and plan their routes accordingly during the specified period.
