UP News: After the Primary school teachers of the UP Schools protested against the Government order of cancelling the holidays between 1st to 15th Sept, the Government revoked the orders of opening schools during the festival time. The Uttar Pradesh Government had earlier called off the holidays of the Primary schools of Uttar Pradesh and announced cleanliness drive in all the schools. But after the move was rejected by many school teachers across the city, the government had to cancel the orders.

Department issues Fresh Guidelines

According to the Earlier Guidelines issued by the Education Director, the schools were asked to be open on the the two Festival Holidays that were falling on the 6th and 7th September, but these orders are revoked now. In the latest order, schools will not be open during these two weeks. According to the schedule issued by the Education Department, the cleanliness drive will take place from the 1st sept and will end with the oath-taking and award ceremony.

Students will be taught about the importance of Cleanliness

All the students of the schools will be taught about the importance of cleanliness in life and all the waste materials like broken furniture, plastic bags and other waste material will be disposed off from the schools.
