UP News: Salute to a True Braveheart! Young Girl’s Legs, Arm Lost But Spirit Intact

A 17-year-old NEET candidate, who unfortunately lost both legs and her left arm in a terrifying tragedy, is inspired by unyielding drive to pursue her ambition of becoming a doctor.

UP News: The 17-year-old NEET candidate claims she wants to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor in order to help both herself and other people. She lost both of her legs and her left arm after a stalker shoved her in front of a rushing train on her birthday, October 10, in Bareilly. The was allowed to leave the hospital on November 12 and, although being confined to her bed due to her infirmities, has not lost her will to fight.

Seeking Support for Prosthetic Limbs to Fulfill Daughter’s Dreams

Her poor family is hoping that the government or some philanthropic groups will step up to provide the girl with prosthetic limbs so that she can live the life of her dreams and walk around easily. She said, “My dream to become a doctor and support my family gave me the courage to fight death. I’m still alive because my parents always stood beside me. There were moments when I was losing this battle, but I prayed. I want capital punishment for the man who pushed me in front of the running train. Ialso want the government to get me prosthetic limbs so that I can achieve my dreams. I know I will not be able to perform surgeries if I become a doctor, but I will still be able to examine patients.”

CB Ganj Grapples With Tragic Incident Involving Amputee Teen

The girl lives in a community that is under the police station’s jurisdiction, CB Ganj. Vijay Maurya, the accused, was charged under the Pocso Act, IPC sections 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons), 504 (intentional insult), 342 (wrongful imprisonment), and 354 (attempting to violate the modesty of a woman). He is incarcerated right now. To meet the girl, TOI went to her home. She responded, “If I am able to get prosthetic limbs, I will work hard and become a doctor to serve others and myself,” when asked how she would handle life’s problems.
