Uttarakhand budget session to be presented on March 15 in Gairsain

The Uttarakhand Budget Session will begin  on March 13 in Gairsain. The budget will be presented in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on March 15.

As per a statement released by CMO,  all the sections are currently consulting budget preparations along with lending their own suggestions. Response is being sought from people from all walks of life to make the budget an inclusive offering to every sector. 

Instead of capital Dehradun, Gairsain, the summer capital of the mountain state, will be holding the budget session under the chairman ship of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. 

In a cabinet meeting that was held on March 4, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had announced that budget session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will be held from March 13-18.

Congress to hold Protests

Congress has said that it will be protest against the recruitment scam, Ankita murder case and Adani case.

State Congress President Karan Mahara said, “The youth, women and working class are agitating against the government, so to wake up the government, the Congress will gherao (encirclement) the assembly and demonstrate in Gairsain on the very first day of the budget session. During the gherao and demonstration, all the party’s prominent leaders and all the MLAs will be present. “
