Uttarakhand Government Eliminates Interview System for Group ‘C’ Exams to Combat Recruitment Scams

Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand: Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, declared on Wednesday that the interview process for all Group “C” exams would be eliminated right away. This decision was made just one day after the Uttarakhand government asked the High Court to appoint an active HC judge to oversee an investigation into recruitment exam fraud in the state.

Action would guarantee exam transparency

Dhami made the announcement at a “gratitude rally” held by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha at the Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani to mark the passing of the anti-cheating law. Dhami claimed that the action would guarantee exam transparency and safeguard young people’s futures.

To stop recruitment exam fraud

Dhami advocated for the immediate elimination of the interview process for all Group “C” examinations, whether they were administered by the Public Service Commission or any other commission in the state. This covers both technical and non-technical positions, like JE posts. In general, the decision to do away with the interview process for Group “C” exams in Uttarakhand was made to encourage transparency and stop recruitment exam fraud.
