Uttarakhand News: The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board has announced that the online registration process for the revered Char Dham Yatra, encompassing Badrinath and Kedarnath, will kick off by the end of March. The registration portals will open in anticipation of the scheduled gate openings for Badrinath on May 12 and Kedarnath on May 10.

While offline registration locations, including Rishikesh transit camps, are expected to start operations from April 15 onwards, the board plans to conduct a two-day trial to ensure a smooth offline registration process.
The exact dates for the opening of Gangotri
The exact dates for the opening of Gangotri and Yamunotri temple gates are yet to be confirmed by the temple committees. The initiation of online registration hinges on the official announcements regarding the opening dates of these temples.
As the board aims to streamline the registration process, the online registration phase is set to begin towards the end of March, followed by the commencement of offline registration post-April 15.
