Haridwar Viral Video: Every year during Sawan, packed roads in Haridwar turn into devotional processions as Kanwariyas head toward sacred rivers. But this time, a viral video has unsettled that spiritual calm.

In the middle of chants and chaos, a violent clash surfaced, showing how faith-driven gatherings can quickly spiral into public disorder. The Haridwar viral video has now sparked a fierce online debate, pushing officials to respond to growing questions about route safety.

Vehicle Occupant Attacked by Kanwariyas Amid Route Chaos

Amid growing unrest on the busy pilgrimage route, a disturbing video has shocked residents and travellers. Journalist Narendra Nath Mishra posted a video on X showing Kanwariyas assaulting a vehicle occupant on the route. In the clip, the crowd surrounds the vehicle, violently hitting it repeatedly with sticks. Mishra asks that if police cannot control the situation, they should lock the entire route for non‑Kanwariya people.

He explains that a strict lockdown will stop non‑pilgrims from venturing out and prevent conflicts. The Haridwar viral video has sparked widespread calls from locals across Uttarakhand and raised urgent safety concerns. This eruption highlights the urgent need for stricter police monitoring and effective road closures on all pilgrimage routes.

Police Assure Safety Measures After Haridwar Viral Video Surfaces

Haridwar Police, Uttarakhand, issued a statement stressing that the safety of Kanwariyas and common citizens remains our top priority. They confirmed that the SSP has taken a strict stance on troublemakers and that a case has already been registered.

In the Bahadrabad car vandalism matter, three troublemakers have been detained. The police are preparing to send these accused individuals to jail to uphold law and order.

Public Demands Route Ban for Non‑Kanwariyas Amid Chaos

As tensions flare, online users vent frustration over unchecked Kanwariya aggression captured in the Haridwar viral video. One user commented, “Is nek kaarya ke liye Shiv ke tathakathit aaradhakon ke sammaan mein Pushpak Vimaan se pushp-vrishti karaai jaaye, taatkaal. 🚁,” sarcastically mocking the glorification of violence. Another user wrote, “Ye punya kamane gaye hain 🤣🤣,” pointing out the irony with humor for these people who came for pilgrimage.

A user expressed concern, “Kawadiyo ke liye ek alag lane banani chahiye... warna ye kisi ko nahi bakshenge, vaise to in logo ko Shiv ka asli matlab bhi nahi pata hoga,” calling for separate lanes for the knawariyas so that no one faces any trouble. Someone added, “This is completely failures of the local administration… offense frequently… and becomes out of control…” blaming the poor governance and mismanagement.

The Haridwar viral video has exposed serious safety lapses among Kanwariyas on pilgrimage routes. Authorities now face growing calls for firm lockdown measures. Haridwar viral video
