According to reports, a woman lives with her second husband in Kankhal police station area of ​​Haridwar. Due to the death of her first husband, the daughter was also living with her after her second marriage. During this, on Monday, when the daughter was alone at home, the stepfather reached the house and raped the daughter. The person has absconded after this.

According to the information, when the victim told the whole thing to her mother on coming home, a police case was registered against this savage father. The police have registered a case in this matter under the POCSO Act. The police had immediately set up teams in search of the accused, after which he was caught after some time.

The police have said that the medical examination of the victim is being done and all the evidence is being collected so that strict punishment can be given to the accused without any further mistake.
