Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has once again made it clear that his government will continue taking strict action against corruption, illegal madrasas, encroachments, and unauthorized land occupation. He emphasized that these operations will persist until all illegal encroachments are completely removed.

Speaking on the completion of three years of his government, CM Dhami highlighted several challenges faced by the state but reiterated that his administration is on the right path to making Uttarakhand a leading state in the country.

Government's Firm Stand on Law and Order

CM Dhami assured that the government has not backed down on crucial issues like land jihad, love jihad, and illegal occupations. He clarified that the actions taken are not targeted at any specific community but are aimed at bringing everyone under the law’s purview. He also mentioned that strict anti-conversion laws have been introduced to maintain the state’s demographic stability.

Three Years of Governance: Major Achievements

Over the past three years, CM Dhami’s government has achieved significant milestones, including:

Tackling Encroachments & Illegal Constructions:

Ongoing action against illegal madrasas, land encroachments, and unauthorized constructions.

Strict measures to uphold law and order in the state.

Implementation of Key Laws:

Enacted the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) to ensure equality in civil matters.

Introduced the Anti-Cheating Law to prevent irregularities in examinations.

Strengthened land laws to curb illegal land dealings.

Development and Infrastructure Projects:

Revived several stalled projects with central government support.

Restarted Jamarani and Lakhwar-Vyasi Hydropower Projects to boost energy production.

Focused on making Uttarakhand a developed state by 2047, aligning with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of a "Viksit Bharat".

CM Dhami recalled that he took charge as Chief Minister after the COVID-19 pandemic, and despite multiple challenges, his government prioritized on-ground work and direct engagement with the people. He remains committed to transforming Uttarakhand into one of India's best states through firm governance, infrastructural growth, and law enforcement.
