Emphasis on Infrastructure Development for Border Regions

• Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi directs the Public Works Department to enhance connectivity in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions.
• Urges the swift submission of proposals for road and bridge construction in border areas to the Central government.

PMO Monitoring and Migration Prevention

• The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) monitors schemes inaugurated during Prime Minister's visits to Pithoragarh.
• Emphasis on the effective implementation of the Chief Minister Migration Prevention Scheme to promote local employment and improve rural infrastructure.
• Ambitious target to create 50,000 financially independent women, known as "Lakhpati Didis," in the current financial year, with a goal to reach one lakh by 2025.
