Uttarakhand News: Abhinav Kumar, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttarakhand, has announced stringent measures aimed at enhancing the traffic system across all districts of the state. As part of these measures, rallies and processions will be prohibited on main roads to alleviate traffic congestion. Additionally, private schools have been instructed to allocate parking space within their premises to prevent traffic jams caused by parked vehicles on roadsides.

Furthermore, the DGP has directed the opening of all commercial and residential complexes equipped with basement parking as per their approved maps. This initiative aims to optimize available parking infrastructure and reduce traffic disruptions caused by vehicles searching for parking space.
