Uttarakhand Rises as a Development Hub Under CM Dhami's Leadership

Recognition by NITI Aayog and Economic Growth

Dhami emphasized that Uttarakhand secured the top position in NITI Aayog’s ranking in 2020, reflecting its strong governance and economic policies. He noted that the unemployment rate has decreased by 4.4%, signaling positive job growth and improved economic conditions. The state has also attracted significant investment, boosting various industries and creating employment opportunities for its citizens.

Landmark Reforms and Policy Initiatives

The Chief Minister highlighted several landmark decisions taken by his government, including the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), making Uttarakhand the first state in India to introduce it after independence. Additionally, the government has enforced a strict anti-cheating law to ensure fair recruitment and examination processes, strengthening transparency and trust in the system.

Dhami also spoke about the various infrastructure projects that have been undertaken, including road connectivity improvements, urban development plans, and new industrial hubs.
