In Uttarakhand, the government has started preparations for the Chardham Yatra. To participate in this yatra, the devotees will have to register. Without this he cannot participate in the yatra. The government has also issued toll free numbers, email IDs, apps and WhatsApp numbers for this. The registration for Char Dham Yatra will start from February 21.
How you can register
If you want to register through the website, then you have to go to registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. After this, you can register yourself by going to Register/Login and giving other information including name, phone number.
Apart from this, you can Whatsapp on 8394833833 on the messaging app WhatsApp. For registration through this medium, you have to message yatra on this number. After this you will be asked some questions, answering which you can register for Chardham Yatra.
Apart from these two mediums, you can also contact on toll free number 01351364.
Along with this, you can download the touristcareuttarakhand app, from where registration can be done easily by giving information.
Information has been given by the government that along with registration, the passengers will also have to undergo medical checkup. The government has appealed to the people to enter the correct mobile number while registering.
According to the Tourism Development Council, registration of every visitor is mandatory for visiting Dhams. If the passengers are going in their own vehicle, then they will also have to register their vehicle. Passengers will have to register on greencard.uk.gov.in.
The doors of Kedarnath Dham, two important stages of the Chardham Yatra, will open on April 25 and Badrinath on April 27.
