Allahabad HC orders scientific survey of Gyanvspi ‘Shivling’

A big decision has come from the Allahabad High Court in the case of the alleged Shivling found in the disputed Gyanvapi campus of Varanasi. The Allahabad High Court has issued an order to conduct a scientific survey of the alleged Shivling. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will have to conduct a scientific survey of the alleged Shivling found in the Gyanvapi premises. The court has given a clear order that the SI will have to conduct a scientific survey without damaging the alleged Shivling. It will have to be ascertained through a scientific survey that how old the alleged Shivling is it really shivling or something

The Allahabad High Court has changed the decision of the District Judge of Varanasi. The matter has been heard in the single bench of Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra. The decision of the High Court has come on the petition filed for the demand of getting the scientific survey of the alleged Shivling done through carbon dating. In this matter, the Archaeological Survey of India had submitted its report in a sealed cover yesterday itself. The order of the District Judge of Varanasi was challenged in a petition filed by the women of the Hindu side. In the month of May last year, during the proceedings of the court commission, the alleged Shivling was recovered from the wajukhana of the mosque.

Hearing on the matter of running 7 cases related to Gyanvapi in one court, this hearing was held in the court of the district judge. In this case, objection was raised from the Muslim side. In the objection, it was said to hear all the cases separately. On the other hand, objection was also raised on behalf of Rakhi Singh and Avimukteshwaranand from the Hindu side, in this objection it was said to hear all the cases separately.

The court has given the next date after hearing all the parties, the court has fixed the next date as May 19.
