Eleven people died in different road accidents in Kanpur on Wednesday. While 28 people were seriously injured. So many injured reached the Halat hospital that the doctors fell short. Dead bodies continued to reach the postmortem house from morning to evening. According to the police, drunk and drive and over speeding have become the cause of death in many accidents.
3 killed in Sachendi road accident
A speeding truck hit a loader on Bhauti bypass of Sachendi area. After this, the driver escaped from there with the truck. 3 people were seriously injured in the accident. The police took all three to Halat. Where doctors declared him dead.
All three have been identified as Amit Mishra, resident of Bihar, Mohd., resident of Rajajipuram, Lucknow. Irrfan and Singora resident of Ayodhya as Dharmendra. After the postmortem of the dead bodies of the three will be handed over to the relatives on Thursday.
2 road accidents in Ghatampur, 3 killed
3 died in 2 road accidents in Kanpur's Ghatampur. While 2 youths were injured. Mithun Saini, a resident of Rampur village of Sachendi area, had gone by bike on Wednesday afternoon to meet Holi at his friend's house living in Ratanpur village of Ghatampur. While returning from there, as soon as he reached near Laukha turn of Ghatampur police station area, he collided with a speeding bike coming from the front.
Bike rider Mithun Saini died on the spot in the accident. At the same time, Vikas, a resident of Bhadras village of Ghatampur, riding on another bike, died on the spot. While Ram and Jaswant are seriously injured. Both have been admitted.
Car collided with bike in Ghatampur, 1 killed
The car hit the bike rider in Akbarpur Chavaiya of Ghatampur. In the accident, the bike rider died on the spot. The car driver fled leaving the vehicle.
25-year-old Dharmendra Kumar, a resident of Barohar village in Fatehpur district, along with his partner Chhotu, had come to Rampratap's relative, a resident of Durauli village, on Wednesday afternoon. While returning in the evening, a car coming from opposite direction hit his bike near Akbarpur Chavaiya village of Ghatampur. Dharmendra died on the spot in the accident.
Bike rider Anshu alias Chunmun died in a road accident at 6 pm on the day of Holi in Maharajpur. Anshu, a resident of Mawaiya Thana Kalyanpur Fatehpur, collided with the divider above the Sarsaul bridge. He was seriously injured. He was brought to CHC Sarsaul. Here he was declared dead by the doctors. The next of kin have been informed.
