Amid Operation Kaveri underway, Uttarpradesh govt opens help desk

In view of the conflict in Sudan, the Government of India is running Operation Kaveri to evacuate its people from the violence-hit country. At the same time, the Uttar Pradesh government has also taken an important decision regarding its citizens. The Yogi Adityanath government will bring the people of Uttar Pradesh trapped in Sudan safely to their homes after coming here.

Under Operation Kaveri, 360 Indian citizens have been brought to New Delhi after being rescued from Sudan in the first batch. Of these, 116 are citizens of Uttar Pradesh. Everyone has highly praised Operation Kaveri for bringing him safely. On the other hand, the Yogi Adityanath government will bring the people of Uttar Pradesh trapped in Sudan safely to their homes after coming here.

1.80 crore given to five districts

The Yogi government has released Rs 1.80 crore to five districts to take every person of UP brought under Operation Kaveri to his home. Along with this, on the instructions of the State Government, the Local Commissioner, New Delhi has set up a help desk.

Funds released to these districtsAccording to Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Sudhir Kumar Garg, the state government has given Rs 1 crore to Gautam Budh Nagar district, Rs 50 lakh to Ghaziabad and Rs 50 lakh to Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi to bring the people of Uttar Pradesh stranded in Sudan to their homes after being brought under Operation Kaveri. Has released an amount of Rs 10 lakh each.

For the convenience of the citizens of Uttar Pradesh coming back from Sudan, a helpdesk is also being arranged at the Delhi airport. In this, duty will be imposed according to the status of the officers of Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad district. All arrangements will be made to send the citizens of the state coming to the airport to their place of residence.
