Atiq Ahmed complains of health issues in jail

Mafia don Atiq Ahmed was brought from Gujarat's Sabarmati Jail to Prayagraj Jail on Wednesday evening. Today he will be produced in the district court in the Umesh Pal murder case. Even before this, Atiq Ahmed's health has deteriorated in the jail. Sources say that Atiq Ahmed has a problem of high blood pressure. Late night he was given medicine when his problem increased.

A team of two doctors is examining him. On the other hand, in view of the appearance of Atiq and his brother Ashraf, it has been decided to make strict security arrangements in the court premises on Thursday. Only advocates and litigants will be allowed to enter the court premises. In view of security, along with PAC, RAF will also be deployed.

Special team will inquire

Atiq Ahmed has been brought on B warrant in Umesh Pal murder case. Apart from Atiq, his brother Ashraf was also brought from Bareilly Jail to Naini Jail on Wednesday itself. A special team of police officers has been formed to interrogate these two. According to sources, the police has prepared a list of about 200 questions for questioning in the Umesh Pal murder case. The Dhumanganj police, involved in the investigation of the Umesh Pal murder case, claim that so far in the investigation, important evidence has been found that the conspiracy was hatched by Atiq, lodged in Sabarmati Jail, and Ashraf, lodged in Bareilly Jail.

ED recovered 75 lakh cash

Along with the police, the ED has also started cracking down on Atiq. On Wednesday, the ED raided several locations of Atiq simultaneously.
