Posting photographs of the meeting, Sunny Deol said he found his meeting with CM Yogi Adityanath a pleasant affair. It was a pleasure to meet with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister; he further praised the conversation between them as being “very pleasant and warm”. In an X post, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself posted photographs of the meeting, which he referred to as a courtesy meet with popular actors Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.

A film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Batwara 1947 talks about the effect that the partition of India had on people’s lives. The movie shows how the life of a family gets disrupted by violence, migration, and the turbulence of the momentous event.
