Before the civic elections, both Deputy CMs Brijesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya have been entrusted with the responsibility of 25-25 districts in UP.

Narendra Kashyap has been made in-charge of Shahjahanpur Municipal Corporation, the area of ​​Finance Minister Suresh Khanna.

Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh has been made in-charge of Varanasi Municipal Corporation. The charge of Kanpur has been given to Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. PWD minister Jitin Prasad was appointed in-charge of Moradabad. Minister in-charge of Saharanpur Yogendra Upadhyay has been appointed.
