Speaking at the inauguration of the General Bipin Rawat Auditorium and unveiling of his statue at Sainik School, Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of preserving India’s civilisational identity.
The official statement released by the CM Office reiterated his remarks:
“A foreign invader can never be great for us. Those who have tampered with history to glorify such invaders suffer from a mindset of slavery. We must completely reject this mentality.”
His comments underline the state government’s consistent stand on reclaiming historical narratives and celebrating national heroes who contributed to India’s cultural and military heritage.
