The Chief Minister emphasized that the responsibility for development in these areas must not be handed over to private contractors. Further, the Chief Minister directed civic officials to ensure that newly merged villages within urban local body limits receive basic amenities at the earliest. This, he said, is essential to prevent residents from facing unnecessary hardships due to lack of infrastructure.
The Chief Minister warned that any lapse or negligence in implementing these directives will not be tolerated. Accountability will be fixed on the concerned officials, and strict action will be taken against those who fail to deliver.
