Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for a series of development projects in Firozabad and Aligarh, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and expanding public welfare initiatives in the two districts.

According to official information, projects worth more than ₹658 crore will be launched in Firozabad, while development works valued at around ₹462 crore will be undertaken in Aligarh. The initiatives cover a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure development, public services, and civic amenities.

In Firozabad, 81 projects are scheduled for inauguration or foundation laying, while Aligarh will see similar action on 85 development projects. Officials stated that these works are expected to improve connectivity, public facilities, and overall quality of life for residents.
The programme will also include the distribution of house keys to beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Urban Housing Scheme. In addition, beneficiaries of various government welfare programmes will receive certificates, financial assistance, and equipment under different schemes.
The state government said the projects reflect its focus on infrastructure expansion, urban development, and welfare delivery. Authorities believe that the new initiatives will contribute to economic growth, create opportunities for local communities, and strengthen public services in both districts.
Firozabad, known for its glass industry, and Aligarh, widely recognized for its lock manufacturing sector, are among the important industrial centres of Uttar Pradesh. Officials expressed confidence that the latest development projects will further support growth and improve living standards in the region.
