CM Yogi Adityanath: The government of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has presented a staggering 9.13 lakh crore Budget for FY27, focusing primarily on agriculture, job creation, education and infrastructure. The budget also includes agri exports, healthcare support, digital entrepreneurship and skill development.
UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented the budget and remarked the budget represents a whopping 12.2 percent high than the last year’s budget. The UP government remarked that the budget’s primary focus is to support economic growth in the long run via agriculture, job creation, education and infrastructure.
CM Yogi Adityanath: Vision For A $1 Trillion Economy
The budget kept fiscal deficit at 3 percent that would continue till 2030-31. The UP government allocated 12.4 percent of the total budget to education, 6 percent to health and 9 percent to agriculture and allied sectors.
The CM Yogi Adityanath government also announced its plans to run large skill training programs in mission mode. It remarked that new centres would soon be opened across Uttar Pradesh while existing centres would be expanded. It was also commented that the private sector would be involved under public private partnership (PPP) model for creating placement centres and job training.

The state would also be creating special training centres for women so their participation in the workforce is increased.
Focus On Farmer Income
The UP government announced its plans to create an agri-export hub that would be formed under the World Bank-supported UP-AGREES project. This would help in improving the income of farmers while also increasing agricultural exports. It was also announced that the Yogi Adityanath government would extend its wholeheartedly support via simpler registration and licensing via the Jan Vishwas reform framework.
The government also announced plans to launch a Digital Entrepreneurship Scheme for supporting startups, innovation and technology-based businesses, creating millions of jobs for youth.
