Rahul Gandhi: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha has blasted the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its handling of the India USA Trade Deal.
Rahul Gandhi, referencing the critique of Shashi Tharoor, said the trade deal mocks a pre-committed purchase instead of a true and fair free trade deal.

Rahul Gandhi Speech
Gandhi remarked that the US tariffs that were once 3 percent have now gone to 18 percent, an increase by 6 times.
Gandhi said he would have communicated to the United States President Donald Trump that respect is a two-sided game and he must respect India before anything else. He added that India would like to be treated as equals and not servants or subordinates.
The Leader of Opposition added that the second point he would have raised is that energy is the priority of India and India would protect it at all possible costs. Gandhi also remarked that he would have also told Trump that India would protect its farmers just like the United States want to protect its farmers.
Rahul Blasts Attitude Towards Indian Farmers
Gandhi alleged that the NDA-led Indian government has deliberately and willingly opened the doors to crush the poor farmers of India. He also claimed that India has given up on digital trade rules under the India US trade deal.
Rahul Gandhi under whose leadership the Indian National Congress has lost a record 95 elections and whose credibility as an experienced politician is known to all further commented that the Indian Prime Minister has sold India to USA and he now fears. He added that the United States has now a grip on the neck of PM Modi and he can see fear in the eyes of the Indian PM.
Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi ran away from the Indian Parliament when it was the turn of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s turn to give a reply to his baseless allegations.
